Sonus faber Sonetto V G2 Floorstanding speakers (Pair)

Overview

The Sonus faber Sonetto V G2 is a three-way floorstanding loudspeaker using a DAD Arrow Point tweeter, a 6.5-inch Camelia midrange, and two 6.5-inch woofers. It belongs to the second-generation Sonetto collection, combining the family’s shaped cabinet design with current driver and crossover technology.

Why This Model Matters

The Camelia midrange and sealed cork chamber are important differences from the smaller Sonetto models. Dedicated bass drivers let the midrange focus on its own frequency band, while the integrated concrete base incorporates the bass-reflex arrangement. The current G2 model should be distinguished from first-generation Sonetto listings when selecting a new speaker. It is passive, so source playback, volume control, and power amplification are supplied elsewhere in the system. Positioning and channel assignment should be planned before choosing the final installation.
