Sonus faber Olympica III G3 Floorstanding speakers (Pair)

Overview

The Sonus faber Olympica III G3 is a three-way floorstanding loudspeaker using a DAD Arrow Point tweeter, a 165 mm Camelia midrange, and two 165 mm woofers. It belongs to the third-generation Olympica collection, with crafted wood surfaces and aluminum elements around a dedicated passive driver system.

Why This Model Matters

The dedicated midrange works in a sealed cork chamber, separating it from the vented bass section. Its two-woofer arrangement offers a slimmer alternative to Olympica V while retaining the current G3 driver and cabinet architecture. This current model should be distinguished from earlier Olympica and Olympica Nova listings when comparing specifications and prices. An external amplifier provides speaker power, and the final installation should account for room boundaries, listening distance, and the role of each channel.
