Sonus faber Lumina V Floorstanding speakers (Pair)

Overview

The Sonus faber Lumina V is a three-way floorstanding loudspeaker with a soft-dome DAD tweeter and a dedicated midrange and two 6.5-inch woofers. Its multilayer wood front panel and leather-wrapped cabinet provide the recognizable Lumina appearance in a straightforward passive speaker.

Why This Model Matters

The larger woofer array separates Lumina V from Lumina III. Its floorstanding cabinet and dedicated midrange make it a purposeful choice when more bass-driver area is appropriate to the room, while the family design keeps it visually coordinated with other Lumina models. The loudspeaker handles the acoustic part of the system; an external amplifier supplies its power. Matching the cabinet size, amplifier capability, and listening distance is more useful than selecting by driver count alone. The available finishes let the speaker share the room with furniture as well as audio components.
