Sonus faber Lumina I Bookshelf speakers (Pair)

Overview

The Sonus faber Lumina I is a two-way bookshelf loudspeaker with a soft-dome DAD tweeter and a 4.75-inch midwoofer. Its multilayer wood front panel and leather-wrapped cabinet provide the recognizable Lumina appearance in a straightforward passive speaker.

Why This Model Matters

The smallest Lumina speaker concentrates the range’s wood-and-leather design into a compact cabinet. Its front-facing reflex outlet is useful to consider when arranging a bookshelf or stand-mounted installation. The loudspeaker handles the acoustic part of the system; an external amplifier supplies its power. Matching the cabinet size, amplifier capability, and listening distance is more useful than selecting by driver count alone. The available finishes let the speaker share the room with furniture as well as audio components.
