Sonus faber Gravis VI Powered subwoofer (Each)
Overview
The Sonus faber Gravis VI is a powered subwoofer using two 320 mm long-throw woofers and a 1700-watt RMS Class AB amplifier. It brings its own amplification to the bass section of a stereo or home theater system.
Why This Model Matters
The twin-driver arrangement distinguishes Gravis VI from the single-driver Gravis V. A sealed enclosure and app-based equalization, delay, phase, crossover, and calibration controls support system integration. The compatible Gravis Transmitter is available separately. Placement and adjustment are as important as output capacity: the subwoofer should work with the main speakers and the room rather than simply add more bass level. The built-in amplifier accepts an appropriate signal from the system, so a separate speaker-level power amplifier is not needed for the subwoofer itself.
