Sonus faber Amati G5 Floorstanding speakers (Pair)

Overview

The Sonus faber Amati G5 is a fifth-generation 3.5-way floorstanding loudspeaker from the Homage collection. Its lute-shaped cabinet houses a DAD Arrow Point tweeter, a dedicated 150 mm midrange, and two 220 mm woofers.

Why This Model Matters

The G5 combines the collection’s layered wood construction with Intono midrange loading and a Stealth Ultraflex bass system. Separate frequency sections allow the driver complement to share the work of reproducing a wide musical range. Its larger woofer array distinguishes it from the slimmer Serafino G2. The craftsmanship remains a major part of the experience, but it is also a substantial passive speaker that needs an appropriately matched amplifier and considered placement.
