 The Refurbishment Process

VCR Mechanical Re-Belt & Tune: Fitted with fresh, correct-spec drive and loading belts. The tape transport system was stripped of old grease and relubricated with high-grade synthetic oils to guarantee smooth tape loading and tracking.

4-Head Video Drum Polishing: Video, audio, and control heads were micro-polished using professional lint-free chamois sticks to restore crisp, artifact-free image quality and flawless stereo tracking.

DVD Optical Laser Calibration: The optical laser assembly was deep-cleaned and its pickup intensity electronically calibrated to factory standards, ensuring instant disc reading and error-free DVD recording.

DeoxIT Contact Treatment: All internal mode switches, AV ports, and front panel buttons were treated with premium DeoxIT to eliminate signal noise and ensure perfect command execution.

Dubbing Circuitry Validation: The internal bidirectional analog-to-digital matrix was fully stress-tested to ensure seamless, high-fidelity archiving from tape to disc.
