Klipsch RP-504C II Center Speaker
Klipsch RP-504C II Center Speaker
Overview
The Klipsch RP-504C II is the flagship center channel speaker in the second-generation Reference Premiere series. Four 5.25-inch Cerametallic woofers flank a 1-inch Linear Travel Suspension titanium tweeter in a 90-degree by 90-degree hybrid Tractrix horn, using a three-way-style crossover arrangement to keep dialogue clear and dynamic even at high volume. At 96dB sensitivity and 150W continuous power handling, it can anchor a large home-theater system. It is offered in ebony and walnut vinyl finishes.
Why This Model Matters
The center channel carries most of a movie's dialogue, and the RP-504C II is built to reproduce it with authority. Its quad-woofer array and dual crossover points give it more output and lower distortion than smaller centers, matching the scale of the RP-8000F II and RP-8060FA II towers. Second-generation upgrades bring a larger horn, a vented tweeter and Faraday-ring woofers for cleaner, more intelligible vocals.
