Klipsch RP-500M II Bookshelf Speakers
Overview
The Klipsch RP-500M II is the compact bookshelf speaker in the second-generation Reference Premiere series, sold as a pair. Each cabinet combines a 5.25-inch Cerametallic woofer with a 1-inch Linear Travel Suspension titanium tweeter in a 90-degree by 90-degree hybrid Tractrix horn, for detailed, efficient sound from a small enclosure. A rear Tractrix port extends the low frequencies. The speakers wear ebony and walnut vinyl finishes with magnetic grilles and sit easily on a shelf, stand, or desktop.
Why This Model Matters
The RP-500M II brings horn-loaded Klipsch efficiency to the smallest, most affordable stand-mount in the range. It is an easy speaker to place and to drive, with 92dB sensitivity that suits compact amplifiers and receivers. The second-generation larger horn, vented tweeter and Faraday-ring woofer improve clarity and lower distortion versus the previous RP-500M, making it a capable choice for near-field and small-room listening.

- 5.25" Cerametallic woofer with Faraday rings (each)

Who It's For
A good match for small rooms, desktops and secondary systems, or as compact surround speakers in a larger Reference Premiere home-theater configuration.
