Klipsch RP-500C II Center Speaker
Overview
The Klipsch RP-500C II is the compact center channel speaker in the second-generation Reference Premiere series. Dual 5.25-inch Cerametallic woofers surround a 1-inch Linear Travel Suspension titanium tweeter in a 90-degree by 90-degree hybrid Tractrix horn, delivering clear, efficient dialogue from a cabinet small enough to fit under most televisions. A rear Tractrix port tunes the low end. It is available in ebony and walnut vinyl finishes with a magnetic grille.
Why This Model Matters
As the mainstream center of the range, the RP-500C II balances output and size, pairing naturally with the RP-6000F II or RP-5000F II towers or the RP-600M II bookshelves. Its 94dB sensitivity keeps dialogue effortless on typical receivers, and second-generation refinements including a larger horn, a vented tweeter and Faraday-ring woofers sharpen vocal intelligibility over the original RP-500C.
