Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Minimal cosmetic cabinet scuffs; mechanically, optically, and electronically pristine.

 The Refurbishment Process

VCR Drive Belt Renewal: Replaced old, stretched belts with premium, correct-tension drive and loading belts to guarantee glitch-free tape loading, rewinding, and playback.

4-Head Video Drum Polishing: The tape head assembly and A/C stack were micro-polished using specialized lint-free chamois sticks to deliver clear picture tracking and deep Hi-Fi stereo separation.

DVD Optical Laser Tuning: The optical lens assembly was micro-cleaned and its laser tracking module calibrated to original factory specs for instant disc reading and skip-free DVD/CD playback.

Tape Path Realignment: Entry and exit rollers along with the capstan and pinch roller were cleared of oxide buildup and precision-aligned to protect your vintage tapes from edge-crinkling.

DeoxIT Contact Treatment: Internal mode switches, mechanical leaf switches, and rear AV ports were treated to completely prevent erratic command execution and signal noise.
