Onkyo A-50 Network Integrated Amplifier
Overview
The Onkyo A-50 is a two-channel network integrated amplifier from Onkyo's Icon series, delivering 110 watts per channel (FTC, 8Ω, 20Hz–20kHz, 0.08% THD) and up to 180 watts per channel into 4Ω. It pairs a fan-less analog amplifier section with a premium 32-bit/768kHz stereo DAC and full network streaming, all housed in an oval aluminum chassis available in Black and Silver.
Why This Model Matters
Onkyo has built hi-fi since 1946, and the A-50 brings that engineering heritage into a modern, do-it-all package. A dedicated MM/MC phono stage, HDMI ARC for a TV, and built-in Dirac Live Room Correction let a single component anchor a turntable, a television, and a streaming library without stacking extra boxes.
