Nakamichi RX-202 Auto-Reverse Stereo Cassette Deck

The Nakamichi RX-202 is a high-quality vintage cassette deck introduced in 1982, featuring Nakamichi’s unique Uni-Directional Auto-Reverse (UDAR) mechanism, which physically turns the cassette over to play the opposite side while maintaining consistent tape-head alignment. Designed for both recording and playback, it supports normal, chrome, and metal tapes, along with Dolby B and Dolby C noise reduction for improved sound quality.

Additional features include independent left and right recording-level controls, LED peak-level meters, a four-digit electronic tape counter, memory stop and play, record mute, and adjustable fade-in and fade-out controls. It delivers a 20 Hz–20,000 Hz frequency response with metal tape, a signal-to-noise ratio of 68 decibels with Dolby C, and wow and flutter of just 0.06%.
