McIntosh MQ101 Environmental Equalizer

A classic piece of McIntosh audio history, the MQ101 Environmental Equalizer was designed to fine-tune your system according to room acoustics and speaker placement. Produced from 1973–1978, the MQ101 features three bands of environmental equalization with five-position adjustments for low, mid, and high frequencies, allowing you to tailor the sound of your system to your listening environment.

The MQ101 offers a 20 Hz–20,000 Hz frequency response, independent left and right low-frequency controls, adjustable input attenuation of 0, -6, or -12 decibels, and a convenient tape monitor section with dedicated inputs and outputs. It has a 60,000-ohm input impedance and provides a 2.5-volt output into a 47,000-ohm or greater load.
