McIntosh ML1 Mk II Loudspeaker (Pair)
McIntosh ML1 Mk II Loudspeaker (Pair)
Overview
The McIntosh ML1 Loudspeaker Mk II is a current four-way speaker inspired by the company’s original 1970 ML1. Five drivers work within an American Walnut cabinet, including a 12-inch woofer in a sealed enclosure and dedicated lower- and upper-midrange units.
Why This Model Matters
The Mk II uses the earlier speaker’s design language with a modern driver arrangement and crossover. Symmetrical driver positioning removes the need for distinct left and right versions. The sealed woofer uses McIntosh LD/HP motor technology, and the speaker is engineered for up to 600 watts of amplifier power. Unlike the original system, its bass design does not require an external equalizer. Matching stands are included, giving the speaker a deliberate listening height and visual presentation.
