Overview

The Klipsch RC-64 III is the flagship center channel of the Reference series, a horizontal 2½-way design engineered to anchor dialogue in a high-performance home theater. Four 6.5-inch Cerametallic cone woofers flank a 1.75-inch titanium compression driver loaded onto a 90° x 90° Tractrix horn, all housed in a sealed enclosure for tight, articulate output. Frequency response runs 57 Hz to 24 kHz (±3 dB) with a rated 99 dB sensitivity, and the speaker handles 200 watts continuous / 800 watts peak at an 8-ohm compatible load.

Why This Model Matters

A center channel does most of the storytelling in a movie, and the RC-64 III is designed to keep pace with Klipsch's largest Reference towers. Its quad-woofer, horn-loaded layout timbre-matches the RF-7 III and other Reference speakers so voices, effects, and score share one cohesive character across the front stage. This third-generation model brings refined Cerametallic drivers and crossover tuning to a proven, dynamics-first formula.

Who It's For

For the home-theater builder pairing a large Reference-series front stage who refuses to let the center channel be the weak link. If you want dialogue that stays intelligible during the loudest action scenes and a timbre match to Klipsch's flagship towers, the RC-64 III is the definitive Reference center.
