Klipsch R-605FA Dolby Atmos Floorstanding Speaker
Overview
The Klipsch R-605FA is a Dolby Atmos-enabled floorstanding speaker in the next-generation Reference series. The main channel uses dual 6.5" spun-copper TCP woofers with a 1" LTS aluminum tweeter on a 90° x 90° Tractrix horn, while an integrated up-firing height module (a 5.25" IMG woofer and its own horn-loaded tweeter) bounces overhead effects off the ceiling. It is effectively a full-range tower and an Atmos elevation speaker in a single cabinet.
Why This Model Matters
Adding height channels usually means extra speakers, brackets, and wiring. The R-605FA folds the Atmos elevation driver into the tower itself, delivering a perfectly matched, virtually invisible immersive setup. That integration, combined with Klipsch's horn-loaded efficiency, makes convincing object-based surround dramatically simpler to install and dial in.
