Klipsch R-50M Bookshelf Speakers
Overview
The Klipsch R-50M is a next-generation Reference bookshelf speaker sold as a pair. Each cabinet pairs a single 5.25" spun-copper TCP woofer with a 1" LTS aluminum tweeter on an all-new 90° x 90° square Tractrix horn, with a rear-firing port for extended bass. At 92dB in-room sensitivity and an 8-ohm load, the R-50M delivers lively, efficient sound from modest amplification.
Why This Model Matters
Bookshelf speakers are where Klipsch's horn-loaded efficiency shines, giving compact cabinets a big, dynamic voice. The R-50M's larger redesigned Tractrix horn sharpens imaging and widens dispersion, while the trickle-down TCP woofer improves midbass accuracy. It works as a standalone stereo pair, desktop or stand-mounted monitor, or as surrounds in a Reference home theater.
